I got to talk to Kehinde the manager and got some facts about Rele Gallery from her…
Rele Gallery is a female establishment, owned by Aderele Soneriwo with all female staff until that changed recently. The establishment is deliberate about empowering female artists.

Even though Rele was established in 2015 the establishment has made so much impact that it almost feels like they have been in the Art scene for longer with features and mentions from publications like Financial Times, LA Times, BBC, Guardian, Vogue etc.

ADE ‘RELE’ means the crown is coming home, home coming… so when you come to Rele Gallery you should feel at home, which makes sense because Rele exhibits works of Nigerian artists so you can feel at home and feel proud to be part of something great.

Rele gallery only exhibit Nigerian Artists, they believe in pushing for our own amazing talents here in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Rele represents visual artists… currently representing 5 artists, they scout for talents and look to represent and exhibit their works. Rele Gallery is currently representing Ayoola Gbolahan, Marcelina Akpojotor, Sejiro Avoseh, Dandelion and Habeeb Andu.
